Miss Gross has wanted to be a teacher since she was in 1st grade! She remembers playing school at home and knowing that this was the job she was destined to do. After finishing school, Miss Gross packed her bags and moved from Ohio to Virginia. Now, she is going on her 3rd year of teaching at Braddock Elementary! She currently co-teaches in an inclusive classroom on the 1st grade team. Miss Gross strives to create an environment where no matter the outside situation that students have, they are loved and welcomed at school. While every student may face hardships, they will know that their classroom is a place where they are celebrated and can be the best they can be!

Miss Gross holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University in Oxford Ohio. Her degree is in Early Childhood Education and Teaching English Language Learners (TELLS). In her spare time, Miss Gross loves to spend time with her family, take long walks outside, play tennis, Pickleball and craft! She could spend hours making homemade cards for her family and friends.
