Mrs. Vereen was born in South Carolina and this is her 20^th year as an educator in Fairfax County.  She has also taught in North Carolina and Maryland.  The bulk of her teaching experiences have been in first grade and reading resource.  She attended the University of South Carolina for both her undergraduate and graduate studies in education. 

She loves spending time with family and friends and is the mother of one son. Her favorite vacation spot is Jamaica.  She loves listening to music and taking walks.
