Mrs. Lopez was assigned as the Assistant Principal at Braddock ES for the 2022-2023 school year. She is a dedicated employee to Fairfax County Public Schools. Throughout her career she has served as a teacher in various grades in the elementary school. In addition, she taught in Leavenworth, Kansas; DeRidder, Louisiana; and Oviedo, Florida. 

Mrs. Lopez has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Canisius University, a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University, and a Master’s of Education in Leadership from George Mason University as well as an endorsement in Advanced Academics from Fairfax County Public Schools. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Lopez enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events (especially the Buffalo Bills), scrapbooking, traveling, and Disney. 

Mrs. Lopez is committed to collaborating with staff, families, and the community. She looks forward to meeting and collaborating with all Braddock Elementary School family members.
