Zuleika Budet-Correa
Zuleika Budet was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She has 11 years of experience with students from Kindergarten to Third Grade and College students. Her commitment and her passion as an educator led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and a second specialty in Administration of Education. The challenge of her studies guides her to write a book titled: “Hablemos el mismo idioma: Trabajo en equipo…Planificación didáctica para impactor al aprendiz del milenio” (2012) (Translate: Let’s speak the same language: Teamwork…Didactic planning to impact the Millennium Learner).
She believes that the change of a society begins with the model of the parents and the educators. Also, that every child is a unique individual that has the potential to share solutions to a changing world. For that reason, in 2017, she began as a Spanish Immersion Teacher in Fairfax Public School with Braddock Elementary School Family teaching Mathematics, Science and Health in Spanish to First Grader Learner.
In her free time, she loves practicing yoga, reading and traveling with her family and friends.
