Braddock Celebrates Posadas: A Festive Tradition
The Braddock community recently came together to celebrate the traditional Mexican Christmas celebration of Posadas. This joyous occasion brought students, staff, and families together to share in the rich cultural heritage of the season.
During the Posada celebration, participants reenacted the journey of María and José seeking shelter, singing traditional songs, and breaking piñatas. The event was filled with laughter, music, and delicious food, fostering a sense of community and cultural understanding.
“Posadas is a beautiful tradition that allows us to connect with our roots and share our cultural heritage with others,” said Ms. Budet. “It’s a time to strengthen our bonds and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.”
The school community extends its gratitude to all who participated in making this year’s Posada celebration a memorable success.
