I am a native New Yorker who has lived in Virginia for 16 years. I started my career as a Special Education Teacher instructing elementary and middle grades for 9 years. For one year, I worked as a Behavior Specialist. I have spent the last 7 years in administration both building level and central office.
Educationally, I obtained my Bachelor’s from Metropolitan College of New York. Regent University is where I completed my Master’s degree in Education focusing on Special Education. Currently, I am in the final year of my Doctoral studies at Virginia Tech. Upon completion, my doctorate will be in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
During my free time, I follow my passion of cooking. I have an amazing husband and three wonderful children. I am transitioning into being an empty nester as our youngest child leaves for college. Bentley, our fur baby, receives a lot of attention. I am THRILLED to join the Braddock Elementary family!
