Sra. Bromeland has been a teacher in immersion education for over twenty years. She began her career as an elementary immersion school teacher teaching in Costa Rica for seven years. She then moved to Minnesota to teach in a Spanish Immersion school for thirteen years. Second language learners hold a special place in her heart and she is thrilled to be joining the Fairfax County Public School District this year to teach fourth grade math, science and Spanish language arts at Braddock Elementary School in the Two-Way Spanish Immersion Program!
Sra. Bromeland holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Luther College in Biology and Spanish, a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Framingham University and a Teaching Certification in General Education K-6 and in Spanish K-8 from the Master’s in Teaching Graduate Studies Program from Hamline University. She loves to foster independence and creativity in her classroom. She’s a fan of books, music and playing with her two children who will be starting second grade at Braddock this year!
